[Samantha in her Cherry Dress]

Yesterday evening Christie and I met Samantha out in the country to take some fabulous portraits of her in this adorable retro cherry dress....it totally suits her! As I went through her images today, I was reminded of a totally gorgeous photograph of my late grandmother - Muriel - in her 20's, on the beach, in a bathing suit. She is stunning and all her 7 kids and 17 grandchildren would know which one i am talking about. One day I'll find it and post it. But the image sticks with us and we love it.....I really believe that Samantha's son - Dorian - and her future grandchildren and great grandchildren will not only LOVE these photographs, but will appreciate that she did them! They say so much about her. (And let's not forget about her hubby Patrick!! I know he will love these!!)

Thank you so much again my friend!!

Dear John : *heart* nellie & hannah

Yesterday afternoon my girlfriend - Christie - and I had the wonderful privilege of doing a maternity session for Nellie. Ben and I met Nellie and her husband, John, when we first moved to Fayetteville, NC 2 years ago. I have always loved being around Nellie. She is one of those people that make you feel so good to be alive after spending time with her. She is real, honest, down to earth, and rich in acceptance, love, and compassion for others. Nellie contacted me to do this photo session of her and their baby girl - Hannah - for her husband. John is serving overseas right now....thank you John! And thank you Nellie :) I pray you three are together again soon enjoying all of the seasons of being new parents!!!

Congratulations on your sweet miracle from the Lord :) I am going to miss you guys when we move! Thank you for being such wonderful friends. We are so excited to see pictures of baby Hannah soon!

Warmly,

Chelsa

PS: this is just a teaser!! More to come!

Last Month In North Carolina : Special Offer!!

It is hard to believe how fast our time here in North Carolina went by. It has definitely been 2 years of wonderful (and at times challenging) experiences as Ben and I became part of the Fort Bragg Army community. I want to thank all of my clients and friends over the last couple years who have been such a blessing to me! I truly enjoyed getting to know each one of you, and sharing with you the ups and downs of Army life. One of the first people we met when we arrived at Ft. Bragg, in January of 2008, was a young lady who worked at the Picerne Housing office on post. I never forgot something that she said to us - "Fayetteville tends to suck you in...". Meaning that at first glance, there are not a lot of us who rave about living in Fayetteville, NC. But as I started to meet all of the wonderful women and their families, I realized that it is going to be harder than I imagined to leave this place!

So, as a departing gift I have a special Portrait Session offer to say THANK YOU!

Use your Portrait Session Credit ($200) towards a CD of ALL the
edited/post-processed/artistically re-touched images from your session.
This is typically anywhere from 40-50 images!
Images are High Resolution, ready for printing.
{*regular price for 50 image rights is $900!}
INCLUDES
One free professional 5x7 print

This offer is first-come-first-serve, with limited dates available!! We are moving at the end of March, therefore the last date available is Monday March 22, 2010. And remember, you must send in your $75 retainer fee to book your spot!
