On the first official day of winter I met Shaylon and Neil for their maternity session before the baby arrives! Thank goodness it wasn't windy and cold....I love how their photos turned out and I cannot wait to meet their sweet baby boy next month!

My Sweet Jairus Liam | Maternity Leave

Here is my 3rd sweet little reason for maternity leave....

On February 22, 2014 we welcomed our sweet little baby, Jy, into the world.  He was born at home in a birth pool, anxiously awaited all morning long by his siblings, Aubrey and Brodie.  At 1:57pm he decided to make his appearance! What a sweet little boy, we love him with our whole hearts!

My Belly | 37 Weeks

Well, I am officially 40 Weeks today! I am so blessed by these images, and even more blessed to be friends with the photographer who took them for me.  I had an idea of what I wanted my session to be like, and Carin completely captured it and more.... Here are a few from my own Maternity Session, it was so hard to choose. I love them all! The photographer is the talented Carin, from the husband-wife team of www.gabrielandcarin.com .  Amazing.

Sloane Adelin | 2 Weeks

Another special little photo session took place on my trip to Canada.  This is another baby I just can't wait to get to know! I love her and I love her family.... Welcome to the world pretty Sloane!

It was awesome to be back in my home town for the birth of this little guy! I loved being able to catch up with my girlfriends, and wait around for Taves to make his appearance.  We were able to do his newborn session at 5 days old, the day I had to leave!

One day I would love to offer Birth Photography! As a mom of nearly 3 (I'm 40 weeks pregnant today with our third!) little ones, that is just not an area I can commit to right now.  But once in a while, life gives me a sweet opportunity to capture beautiful moments...like these for a friend I have known all my life, as she welcomed her 3rd little boy into the world at home.
